LAWRENCE – Jose Camara, Jr., 40, of Lawrence, passed away on September 12, 2025 at the Boston Medical Center.
Jose was born in New Bedford, MA, he was the son of Susanne (Isabelle) Camara and Jose Camara, Sr. He was raised and educated in the Boston area and worked for many years as a Handyman. Jose enjoyed participating in Cub Scouts, playing baseball and soccer, and he loved Halloween. He was a drummer and guitar player and enjoyed playing music in a band with his friends.
Jose will be remembered as a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his mother Susanne (Isabelle) Barksdale and her husband Thomas of Lawrence, his father Jose Camara, Sr., his sons Noah Camara of Lowell, and Nicholas Morgan Camara of Lawrence, and his sister Elizabeth Bova and her husband Jeffrey of Lawrence. He also leaves behind two nephews and several cousins, and may friends.
