HAVERHILL – Barbara A. O’Leary, 83, wife of the late Albert D. O’Leary of Haverhill passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025 at Aspen Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Haverhill.
Barbara was born in Chelsea on September 12, 1942; she was the daughter of John M. and Anna V. (Brown) Greenhow, Jr. and was a graduate of Andover High School, Class of 1959. She was a loving wife to Albert D. O’Leary and worked for many years as a secretary for her husband’s roofing business. Barbara enjoyed horse riding, yard sales, collecting antiques, and traveling throughout New England.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Roxanne and her husband Ronald of Rochester, NH, her brothers Gregory A. Greenhow and his wife Karen of Tewksbury, and Gordon Greenhow and his wife Patricia of Heuvelton, NY, and her sisters: Delores Francis of Fremont, NH, Judith Drake and her husband Guy Timothy of Heuvelton, NY, Pamela Fazio and her husband Vincent of Effingham, NH, and Lynne Allen and her husband Richard of Sandown, NH. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Devan and Theron.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, October 16th from 4PM until 7PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
