Lois Sannella

Lois Mae (Chambers) Sannella, 74, of Haverhill, died Thursday, June 2, at the Merrimac Valley Hospital in Haverhill after being stricken ill suddenly at home.Born in Portsmouth, NH, she was the daughter of the late, Eugene and Blanche (Small) Chambers. She attended Haverhill public schools and Haverhill High School.A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Sannella was primarily a homemaker until her husband, the late, Richard C. Sannella Sr. passed away in 1986. She then began her career of twenty years in the environmental services department of Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Haverhill.She was an avid reader and loved animals as she never refused a stray animal a loving home.She leaves a son, Richard C. Sannella Jr, two daughters, Tina M. Sannella, and Sherry A. Sannella, all of Haverhill, and a granddaughter, Sarah A. Sannella.Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, June 4, at 12:00 PM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street (Rte 125) Haverhill. A period of visitation will precede the service from 10:00 AM until Noon. Burial will follow in the family lot at Greenwood Cemetery, East Broadway, Haverhill.
