Linda Butler

Linda Jean Butler, 51, of Haverhill, died Thursday, September 1, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a two year courageous battle with cancer.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of Joseph B. and Sandra (Lahaye) Butler. She attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a Graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1977.Linda began her varied career at Napoli’s Pizza in Haverhill and went on to work in the high tech industry, including Digital and later Compac Computer Manufacturing Co. A lover of animals, she especially enjoyed horseback riding.She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and loving companion to her significant other of twenty-six years, Michael Quatrale, of Stratham, NH. Along with her parents, she leaves two sons, Michael P. Bakanosky Jr. and his wife, Stephanie, of Topsfield, and Jason A. Bakanosky, and his significant other, Angelique Neptune, of Bradford, maternal grandmother, Rita V. (Leclair) Lahaye, of Haverhill, two brothers, Raymond Butler and his wife, Kelly, of Epping, NH, and Gary Butler, of Lowell, a sister, Lori Canney, and her husband, Joseph, of North Carolina, six cherished grandchildren, Michael P. Bakanosky III, Aiden, Tristen, Gabriel, Kyle, and Julien Bakanosky, and aunts uncles, and cousins who will miss her dearly.Funeral services and burial are private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill.
