Alicia Marie DeNisco, 32, of Lawrence, died peacefully, on February 13, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, after a courageous battle with cancer.Born in Malden on September 23, 1979, she was the daughter of, John S. DeNisco Sr, and the late, Debra M. (Lewis). Raised in Haverhill, Alicia attended Haverhill public schools and Whittier Regional Vo-Tech, where she excelled in the Culinary Arts program. Ms. DeNisco was employed as an emergency dispatcher for A.M.R. Ambulance Service in Newburyport, for many years until her illness forced her to an early retirement. She enjoyed scrap booking, listening to her favorite music, and above all spending time with her family and friends.She leaves her loving partner of sixteen years, Jose Saul Joubert, two cherished children, Emilio R. Joubert, and Macy E. Joubert, all of Lawrence, her father, John S. DeNisco Sr, of Chelsea, step father, Philip Cullenine, of Derry, a brother, John S. DeNisco Jr, of CA, a sister, Erica N. (Cullenine) LeCoy, of Fitchburg, and many aunts uncles and cousins, who will dearly miss her.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Thursday, from 5 until 8 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM in All Saints Church, Bellevue Ave. Haverhill. Burial will follow in Plaistow Cemetery, Plaistow.
