Margarita Valentin, 47, of Haverhill, died Thursday, September 27, at her home, surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness.Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Pablo Valentin and the late, Ines Gonzalez. Educated in Puerto Rico, she relocated to Haverhill in 1990.She leaves two sons, Pedro Colon, of Manchester, NH, and Nester L. Colon, of Haverhill, a daughter, Maria Baez and her husband, Eduardo, of Haverhill, seven grandchildren, Pedro Isiah Colon, Naida Almestica, Shanaida Colon, Natalia Baez, Adrian Baez, Nina Colon, and Joel Colon-Rivera, her father, Pablo Valentin, of Puerto Rico, eleven siblings, Elisabel, Pablo, Marisol, Isabel, Reynaldo, and Benjamin Valentin, Ana, Epifanio, Elisamuel, and Alberto Garcia, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Ines Valentin, and siblings, Santiago, Jose, and Saturnino Garcia.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Saturday from 5 until 7 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will follow at 7 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Puerto Rico.
