Alyce F. (Rivers) Innis, 81, of Haverhill, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009 at the Tuft’s Medical Center in Boston after being stricken ill suddenly at home.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late, Harland E. and Ethel G. (Smith) Rivers. She attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a 1945 graduate of Haverhill High School.For close to 30 years, Mrs. Innis was employed as a layout operator at the former Western Electric AT&amp T in North Andover, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a lifelong member of the former St. Rita’s Parish, now All Saints Parish.A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her life revolved around her family. She leaves her beloved husband of 62 years, Joseph F. Innis of Haverhill two daughters, Leslye A. Innis of Framingham, and Linda S. and her husband Daniel P. Francescone Sr. of Haverhill three grandchildren, Daniel P. Francescone Jr. and his wife Erin of Haverhill, Lee Lahti and his wife Michelle of Ft. Collins, Colo., Brian J. Francescone and his wife Lee Ann of Derry, N.H. five great-grandchildren, Sean Lahti, Megan, John, Tyler, and Nicholas Francescone several nieces and nephews and close friends, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fargnoli of Haverhill. She was predeceased by her sister, Gladys M. Rivers.ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Route 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill.
