Sandra Petty

Sandra (Richard) Petty, 64, of Haverhill, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009 at the Oxford in Haverhill, after a lengthy illness.Born in Methuen, June 10, 1945, she was the daughter of the late, George and Helen (Trakinas) Richard. She attended Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1963. For many years, she was employed in the laundry of the Aramark Company in Lawrence.She leaves seven brothers, Raymond Richard, of Haverhill, David Richard, of Salem, N.H., James Richard, of West Virginia, Robert and Ronald Richard, both of Lawrence, Michael Richard, of Methuen, and George Richard Jr., of Salem, N.H. five sisters, Barbara Richard, of Holyoke, Georgette Foresta, of Salem, N.H., Shirley Richard, Deborah Shaw, of Haverhill, and Kathy Richard, of Holyoke, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Stephen Richard.ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., (Route 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Burial is private.
