Marcelle Riley

Marcelle J. (Lambert) Riley, 74, of Haverhill, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 at the Hanna Duston Healthcare Center, after a lengthy period of declining health.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late, Adrian G. and Antoinette F. (Mourey) Lambert. She attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1952.She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Mrs. Riley was employed as a layout operator for the former, Western Electric/A T&amp T /Lucent Technologies for over 28 years, retiring in 1990. A devout mother and grandmother, she enjoyed cooking and shopping.The widow of Paul F. Riley Sr., she leaves a son, Paul F. “Rusty” Riley Jr. two daughters, Cheryl D. and her husband James P. Roy, and Sharon L. Manning, all of Haverhill a brother and sister-in-law, Rene and Margit Lambert, of Bradford 10 grandchildren one great-grandson, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Brenda J. Driscoll, and sister, Denise Roumeliotis.ARRANGEMENTS: At the request of Mrs. Riley, funeral services are private.
