James B. Hatch, 67, of Haverhill, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.Born in Bath, Maine, he was the son of Damaris E. (Tarr) and the late, Delbert H. Hatch Jr. He was raised in South Berwick, Maine where he attended South Berwick Public Schools and was a graduate of South Berwick High School, Class of 1961.A Vietnam veteran, James enlisted into the U.S. Army shortly after graduation, serving his country proudly and being honorably discharged.Mr. Hatch was employed by the TYCO Corporation, in Dover, N.H., and later moving to Haverhill, was employed in Manufacturing Facilities throughout the Merrimack Valley.He leaves a son, Wayne A. VonKanel of Boston two daughters, Irene Gigliotti and Maryanne Anzaldi, both of Haverhill grandchildren, Judith Budlong, Meghan Sheehey, and Carlos Torres great-grandchildren, Kaden Saunders, Xavier, Latecia, and Laura Torres brothers, Alan Hatch, of Rochester, N.H., David Hatch of Eliot, Maine, Michael Hatch of Sanford, Maine, Scott Hatch of Littleton, Colo. a sister, Linda Moore-Hatch of Leicester, Vt. and several nieces and nephews.ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Saturday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Route 125), Haverhill. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation period at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
