Shirley F. (Ferguson) Gigliotti, 81, of Haverhill, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late, Harold A. and Margaret E. (Collins) Ferguson. She was a graduate of St. James Grammar School and St. James High School, Class of 1946. Mrs. Gigliotti was employed as an Operator for the New England Telephone Company, and retired in 1989 after a lengthy career that spanned over 40 years. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and great-grandmother, Shirley enjoyed nothing more than time spent with her beloved family. She enjoyed a friendly card game and occasional trips to Foxwoods.She leaves her beloved husband of 62 years, Albert M. Gigliotti, of Haverhill two sons, Michael and his wife Deborah Emery-Gigliotti, of Rochester, N.H., Jack J. and his wife Lynn (German) Gigliotti, of Bradford four daughters, Karen M. Agnew and her husband Thomas H., of Methuen, Kathleen P. Fraza and her husband, Norman, of Haverhill, Mary M. Gigliotti-Roche, of Haverhill, Beverly Sheehan, of Haverhill 17 grandchildren, Michael Gigliotti, Tricia Burke, Eric, Brian, and Amy Gigliotti, Christen Agnew, Tiffany Goodwin, Derek and Jeffrey Fraza, Corey Smith, Heidi McClintock, Meaghan, Lindsay, and Katelyn Roche, John and Kaicee Sheehan, and Adam St.George, 14 great-grandchildren, a brother William Ferguson and his wife Carole, of Salem, NH, a sister, Janet Ferguson, of Tewksbury, sisters in law, Tina Ferguson, of Haverhill, Marilyn Ferguson, of Tewksbury, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Louie A. Gigliotti and brothers, Robert, John, Richard, and Eugene Ferguson.ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Route 125), Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Primrose Street, Haverhill.
