Haverhill – Gordon P. Begin, 49, of the Bradford section of Haverhill, died January 31, at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen after a lengthy illness.Born in Salem, he was the son of Omer J. Begin Sr. and Diane M. (Judd). Gordon attended public schools in Salem and Beverly and Danvers, moving to Haverhill in 1976, he was a graduate of Essex Agricultural High School, class of 1982.Mr. Begin was employed as a carpenter and roofer for many local contractors throughout Essex County. Working with his brother in the HVAC business, he became EPA certified.He leaves his companion of thirteen years, Cindy Brammer- Augustonovich, of Bradford, father, Omer J. Begin Sr, of Florida, his mother, Diane Hebert and her husband, Arthur, of New Ipswich, NH, his older brother, Omer Joseph Begin, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Derry, NH, brother, Shawn T. Begin and his wife, Joanne, also of New Ipswich, NH, step sister, Jennifer Beal, of Florida, nieces and nephews, Koudi E. Begin, Holly D. Begin, and Joseph L. Begin.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Thursday, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Mill St. Haverhill.
