Big enough to serve you, small enough to know you.

John Naroian

LAWRENCE– John Joseph Naroian, 88 of Lawrence, MA passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at Lawrence General Hospital.Born and educated in Lawrence, he was the son of Kachadoor and Josephine (Boucher) Naroian and attended Lawrence High School. In his early years, John was a doffer in the Lawrence Mills, a World War Two veteran and became a car painter who eventually ran the paint shop at Nassar Ford where he worked for almost 40 years of his life. But these positions did not define him. John was a quiet man who punctuated his life with loud moments. A gentleman with an operatic tenor’s voice, he sang at numerous weddings and funerals. Whenever he had a discussion with someone, all of his life’s passion would be in his answers. To watch a sporting event with him was an event in itself. But his quiet dignity came in how he loved his family and friends, especially his son. John was never a man to complain about his ills but would do whatever he could to help others with theirs. He lived his life in a way where he rarely would say, “I love you” but would show you his love in every action he took.He was simply the best dad and the world is a little less warmhearted without him.John is survived by his son Raymond and his wife Theresa of Haverhill, sisters, Eva Naroian, of Methuen and Eleanor Avedisian and her husband Dick also of Methuen brother Michael Naroian and his wife Sona, of Methuen and sister-in-law Melanee Naroian of Lawrence, grandchildren Zyon, Hannah and Jordan Bessette, and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his sisters and brothers, Peter and Rose Naroian, Margaret Pellerin, Mary Sarkisian, Harry and Archie Naroian.Friends and family are respectfully invited to gather at the Kevin B.
