Haverhill – Pauline Louise (Homan) Poor, 82, a lifelong Haverhill resident passed away on February 19 at the Holy Family at Merrimack Valley Hospital surrounded by her family.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late, Joseph and Alice Rose (Beauregard) Homan. Living in the Lafayette Square section of Haverhill, she attended St. Joseph Grammar School and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1951. For over forty years, Mrs. Poor worked at the St. Vincent dePaul thrift shop of St. Joseph Parish. A lover of music, she was a fan of Elvis Presley.The Widow of Roland C. Poor Sr. who died in October of 2015, she leaves her children Roland C. Poor Jr and his wife Deborah, of Haverhill, Paul H. Poor and his wife Theresa (Morley), of Lee, NH, John W. Poor, of Haverhill, Robert M. Poor, of Haverhill, Richard E. Poor and his wife, Laurene (Bryant), of Haverhill, James D. Poor and his wife, Brenda (Nutter), of Haverhill, grandchildren Rebecca Moreno, Jeffrey Poor, Melissa Visco, Christopher Poor, Paul Poor Jr., Katrina Poor, Richard J. Poor, Taylor Poor, Mackenzie Poor and Casey Poor, great grandchildren Sophie Newton, Brylee Visco, Grant Moreno, Julia Moreno, and Madison Newton, a brother, Leo W. Homan, of Haverhill and a sister, Louise R. Homan, of California. She was predeceased by her son, Joseph A. Poor.Friends and family are respectfully invited to calling hours on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 main St. Haverhill. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Mill St. Haverhill.
