Haverhill – Arnold E. White, 77, husband of Dorothy May (Crockett) White, passed away Wednesday, February 24 at Holy Family at Merrimack Valley surrounded by his loving family.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Frank E. and Julia (Gaquin) White. He was raised in educated through the Haverhill Public School System and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School class of 1957. He and his wife Dorothy were childhood sweethearts and celebrated 56 years of marriage. He was an Army National Guardsman for many years. Arnold began his career employed as a carpenter for Chase Lumber Company. He then worked as a traveling technician for Circle Machine in Merrimac for 20 years. He retired from Gare Ceramics at the age of 65. He was a member of the Bowling League at St. Joseph’s, the Ridge Runners Club and the Georgetown Gun Club. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his daughter Cheryl A. Corsaro of Haverhill a daughter in law, Beth (Rislove) White of Fremont, NH grandchildren, John and Shawn Camarato, Justin Corsaro, Samantha A. White and Brianna Rislove great grandchildren, Benjamin Camarato and Madison Camarato a brother, John White and his wife Emeline of Palm Coast, FL sisters Alice McNeil of Haverhill and Florence Crowe of Nottingham and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Charles A. White in September of 2015, and brothers Frank, William and Richard White. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, March 1 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin at 9:00AM at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Lincoln Avenue, Haverhill. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem Street, Bradford. Contributions may be made in his memory to St. John the Baptist Church Building Fund, 6 Cottage Street, Haverhill, MA 01830.
