Haverhill – Margaret A. “Peggy” (McCarthy) Bellefeuille, 71, wife of Donald J. Bellefeuille passed away on Thursday, March 31 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington surrounded by her loving family.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Anna P. (Nissi) McCarthy. She attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1962. She was employed as a clerk for Western Electric as well as a home health aide for the VNA. Peggy was an avid gardener and the love of flowers showed in the beauty of her yard. She loved spending time at Seabrook Beach where her family owned a home for many years. Time spent with her husband, family, and friends on the patio watching the sunset was her favorite. One of her favorite companions was her cat “Annie” who kept her company when she was unable to get around. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her five grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.In addition to her loving husband of forty-six years, she is survived by her children, Todd J. Bellefeuille and his wife Carolyn R. of Georgetown and Michele A. Skafas and her husband Brendon R. of Haverhill a sister, Maureen M. Schneider of Haverhill five grandchildren, Brady Skafas, Nolen Skafas, Ryan Bellefeuille, Scott Bellefeuille and Jason Bellefeuille two nephews Daniel Schneider Jr. and his wife Vanessa and Connor Schneider a great nephew Aidan.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, April 4 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday morning at 9:00AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at Sacred Hearts Parish, South Main Street, Bradford.
