Alden Carter

Alden Roy CarterOn April 7, 2016, Alden Roy Carter passed away at the age of 71 at the Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill MA surrounded by his loving family. Alden graduated from Bar Harbor High School. After High School he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Vietnam and Germany and achieved the rank of Sergeant. Alden’s family members include his son Eric and his wife Meika of Holderness, NH along with their two daughters Marissa and Eliza his daughter Angela and her husband Michael Chermak of Warwick, NY along with their two sons Elias and Gabriel his three sisters Jean Harrington of FL, Janet Hennigan of Trenton ME, and Lois Hennigan of Trenton ME. Alden was born in Bar Harbor, Maine to Maurice and Virginia Carter. Alden was a loving and gentle brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. He loved to play games and loved spending time with his grandchildren and his nine nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held on April 9, 2016 with full military honors. Internment at Ledgelawn Cemetery in Bar Harbor will take place this summer. The Kevin B.
