Haverhill – Cameron Sean Alder passed away Saturday, November 12th surrounded by his loving family. Diagnosed with cancer in March, just two weeks after his eighteenth birthday, Cameron faced his illness head-on and fought for eight long months with the strength and bravery of 100 men.Ever the protector, he consoled those around him with humor and grace, never once complaining of the hand he had been dealt. His larger than life presence and one of a kind sense of humor forever impacted all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.Cameron was the beloved son of Ian S. Alder of Haverhill and Nicole M. Frascone and her fiancé` Grant Lavallee also of Haverhill. He attended the Tilton School, Consentino School and Whittier Middle School. He was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 2016. During his freshman and sophomore years of high school he was a proud member of the ROTC. With a love for music, he played the guitar and his favorite band was Korn. He enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, and his favorite television show, American Pickers. Cameron was known for his dry sense of humor and his quick wit.In addition to his loving parents he is also survived by a brother, Calden N. Alder of Haverhill two sisters, Kailyn R. Alder and Makayla R. Alder, both of Haverhill aunts and uncles, Renee Ingram of Hampton, NH Melissa Little of Haverhill Justin Alder of Haverhill William Frascone and his wife Candice of NH Anthony Frascone of NH his paternal grandparents, Kevin and Paulette Alder and several cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, William and Theresa (McLaughlin) Frascone.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, November 17 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 8:00PM.
