Derry, NH – Paul McGraw, 85, passed away January 10, 2017 at Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill surrounded by his loving family.Born in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Jane (Wright) McGraw. Raised in Camden, he left school and from the age of 14 he worked as a groomer at horse racetracks on the East Coast from Rockingham, NH to Sarasota, FL. Paul served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged. One of seven children, he had a free spirit and a love of horses. He was known on the racing circuit as one of the top groomers in the industry. Paul will be remembered for his great sense of humor and quick wit. He is survived by his sister, Grace D. Kulbickas of Merchantville, NJ and his close friend Kathleen LaFreniere of Derry, NH many close friends and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his five siblings. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Graveside services January 13 at 11:00AM at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
