Bradford – Jeanne L. (Levasseur) Duggan, 87, wife of John E. “Jack” Duggan, passed away January 21, 2018 at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill surrounded by her loving family.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Alma (LaLiberte) Levasseur. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1949. She was employed at Western Electric and also worked in the shoe industry before becoming a stay at home Mom. She married her husband Jack in 1955 and enjoyed 62 years together. Jeanne was a talented seamstress who made Raggedy Ann Dolls for her family and a crafter as well. In addition to sewing she won awards for her beautiful hooked rugs. She also enjoyed knitting afghans, hats, and mittens as well as crocheting numerous blankets and doilies. Jeanne created beautiful lamps, cookie jars, wall hangings, to name a few, in ceramics. An avid reader and a great baker, she will be remembered for her sense of humor. Jeanne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.In addition to her loving husband Jack, she is survived by her children, David J. Duggan and his wife Debra of Portsmouth, RI Lisa A. Guerin and her husband John of Bradford Susan M. Lanza and her husband Donald of Hampstead, NH her sister Barbara Goff of Mission, TX sister in law Lillian Levasseur of Bradford five grandchildren, Steven Lanza, Rachel Lanza, Dr. Daniel Duggan, Rebecca Duggan, Elaina MacLean two great grandchildren, Jameson P. MacLean and Malea Duggan and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Lorraine Sullivan, Bernadette Coulombe, brothers Oscar, Norman and Roland Levasseur.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, January 25 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 11:00AM. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem Street, Bradford.
