Plaistow, NH – Mary L. (Johnston) Tingley, 58, wife of Steven J. Tingley, passed away June 19, 2018 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill with her loving family by her side.Born in Kittery, ME, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Charlotte R. (Hillidge) Johnston of Haverhill. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School. She attended Northern Essex Community College and then to Bradford College where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. Mary was employed at AT&amp T for 10 years as an assembler. She was a graphic designer for swimming pool liners and was employed for the last two years for Lahey Health Community Services Family Partner. Mary has touched the lives of so many. From childhood to adulthood she was always the “cool chick”. She gave her all to each and every person she ever met with asking nothing in return. When Mary’s granddaughter Ava came into her world, Mary’s heart grew even larger. Ava will always be the love of her life. She loved to cook and loved traveling. A loving, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, she will always remain in our hearts. In addition to her loving husband Steven and mother Charlotte, Mary is survived by her children, Jennifer R. Calnan and Joseph A. Calnan, both of Haverhill stepson James Tingley of Michigan granddaughter Ava J. Quintal brothers Mark Johnston and his wife Gina and Scott Johnston and his wife Ellen of Lowell sister Kelly Perez of Haverhill cousin Carol Johnston and family of San Antonio, TX aunts Marie Caputi and Frances and Michael Arzoonian, both of Bradford several nieces, nephews and many friends.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday June 22 from 11:00AM until 1:30PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 1:30PM. Burial will be in Plaistow Cemetery, Elm Street, Plaistow, NH.
