Raymond Bouchard, Jr.

Bradford – Raymond J. “Butch” Bouchard, Jr., 72, passed away April 30, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston surrounded by his loving family.Ray was born and educated in Haverhill, son of the late Raymond and Lillian R. (Donovan) Bouchard. He proudly served the city as a firefighter for the Haverhill Fire Department for many years until his retirement. Ray was the ultimate outdoorsman and lifelong accomplished hunter and fisherman. He has held membership with the Haverhill Hound Rod &amp Gun Club and was a skilled marksman. Ray was happiest when helping others in need and was always thoughtful to relay a kind word of compliment. He will be remembered for his quick wit, keen sense of humor, and friendly personality. He was a devoted husband, loving father, dedicated grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Donna (Dinges) Bouchard their children &amp spouses, Brian Bouchard &amp Anne-Marie of Atkinson Dennis Bouchard of Derry, NH Susan Shaw &amp Paul of Bradford siblings, Jeanne Carole Sampson of Haverhill Sandra Malenfont of NJ Randy Bouchard of Raymond, NH and Anthony Bouchard of Seabrook. He leaves his adoring grandchildren, Nicole Eldridge &amp husband Jordan of Chatham, IL Brett Bouchard, and Cole Bouchard of Atkinson Cody Shaw and Tyler Shaw of Bradford 2 great-grandchildren, Nikolas Eldridge and Noah Eldridge several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 11:00AM.
