Haverhill – Michael P. Costas, Jr., 63, passed away March 14, 2018 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Michael P. Costas, Sr. and Nikomahi (Carelis) Costas.Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High Trade School, Class of 1972. Michael was employed in the security IT surveillance department at Lucent Technologies. He enjoyed car racing, motorcycling-trike riding and loved to go fishing. Family was important to Michael and he enjoyed spending time with them. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Michael is survived by his brother, Steven M. Costas and his wife Susan of Lawrence nieces and nephews, Kelly McNamara and her husband Scott of Dracut Michael McLaughlin of Newburyport Kerrie LaBroad and her husband Christopher of East Kingston, NH grand – nieces and nephews, Delaney McNamara, Dorie McNamara, Jack LaBroad and Reid LaBroad. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, March 19 from 10:00AM until 12:00Noon at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will follow at 12:00Noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, John Ward Avenue, Haverhill.
