Haverhill – Costanzo “Stan” Lalli, 100, husband of the late Angelina M. (Buco) Lalli, passed away July 20, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.Born in Maynard, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Baccari) Lalli. Raised and educated in Maynard, he was a graduate of Maynard High School, Class of 1935. After graduation he served his country in the United States Army during World War II, stationed in North Africa, and was honorably discharged. He returned to the states after the war. He pursued training at Ft. Devens attending barbering school. He soon met his wife Angelina and was married in 1947 at Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, and made their home in Methuen. With his wife, he moved his family to Haverhill where he raised his children. Stan was a barber, owning his own barber shop for many years until his retirement.. He was an avid coin collector and dealer in the Merrimack Valley area. He enjoyed fishing and golfing, playing poker and 45’s, but he mostly loved spending time with his loving family. Stan will be missed by all who knew and loved him.He is survived by his children, Cynthia Linehan and her husband Kevin of Atkinson, NH Anthony C. Lalli and his fiancé` Linda M. (Medolo) Johnson of Haverhill daughter in law Kathleen Lalli of Haverhill eight loving grandchildren, Melissa Dimos and her husband Dr. Christos Dimos, Dr. Matthew Lalli, Michael Lalli, Dr. Mark Lalli, David Linehan, Jeffrey Linehan, Army Captain Patrick Linehan, Nicholas Linehan great grandsons Sotirios and Dimitrios Dimos several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, July 26 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Friday morning at 9:00AM at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Primrose Street, Haverhill.
