Ada Pearl (Kendrick) Ball, 55, of Bradford, passed away peacefully at her home, with her family by her side, on January 24, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.Born on April 1, 1956, in Wetumpka Rural, Alabama, she was the daughter to the late J.D. Kendrick and Alzetta (Jordan) Kendrick. Moving to Lynn, Massachusetts as a child, she attended English High School. Until her retirement in 2008, Ada was employed by the Merrimack Spool Company in Haverhill.In her spare time, Ada enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and camping whenever she could, as well as cooking, especially for her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, but of all else, Ada found true enjoyment in dancing. Ada had an amazing passion for life and found no better way to celebrate that then through every opportunity she had to dance, often times enjoying the activity right along with her closest friends and family. Ada will be sadly missed by all who knew her but her memory will live on forever.Ada is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, Mr. William N. Ball of Bradford, one daughter, Alfreda A. Kendrick of Haverhill, five sons, Paul Kendrick and his wife April of Haverhill, Jason J. Kendrick of Epping, NH, Darrin K Kendrick of Haverhill, Christian A. Kendrick of Haverhill, and a step-son, William N. Ball of Haverhill, six brothers, four sisters, and ten grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her two brothers, Winston and David Kendrick.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Saturday, January 28, from 10 until 12PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte. 125), Haverhill, with a funeral service at the funeral home at 12PM. Burial will be private.
