Alice Poirier

Alice L. (Campbell) Poirier, 81 of Haverhill, formerly of Groveland, died Monday, February 25, at Lawrence General Hospital after a brief illness.Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late, Douglas and Alice (Leithe) Campbell. Raised and educated in Canada, she moved to New England in 1962.Mrs. Poirier was employed as a waitress and worked at Carifio’s Restaurant in Groveland, and the Three G’s Restaurant in Georgetown. She was known as a kind and generous person and volunteered at the Merrimack valley Hospital. For entertainment she enjoyed playing BINGO, and being with her family.She leaves her two sons, Robert D. Poirier and his wife, Donna, of Haverhill, and Frank G. Poirier and his wife Polly, of Raymond, NH, three brothers, Gordon, Donald, and Douglas Campbell, all of Toronto, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service on Sunday, March 3, at 2:00 PM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 main St. Haverhill. Her family will receive visitors from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
