Angel Luis Arriaga, 67

Haverhill- Angel L. Arriaga, 67, of Haverhill, passed away Saturday April 17, at his residence with his loving family by his side.

Mr. Arriaga was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, the son of Almerido Arriaga and Virginia Bermudez Colon Arriaga. He was educated and worked in Puerto Rico before relocating to Haverhill in 1969. He worked for various employers during his career including Hoyt & Worthen Tannery in Bradford, and later several contractors in the Merrimack Valley.

Angel loved his family and animals. He enjoyed taking walks with his dog through the neighborhood and engaging with anyone he passed. He was known for being an outgoing, energetic and funny. He was a great cook and cherished his time spent with family and friends.

He leaves his loving children; Illiana Worley and her husband, Bruce, of Tavares, FL, Jizelle Arriaga, of Haverhill, Kevin Furlong and his wife, Kara, of Manchester, CT, siblings; David Arriaga and his wife, Justina, of Hearford, PA, and Milagros Arriaga, of Puerto Rico, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Genesis Arriaga and siblings, Aida and Miguel Arriaga.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend calling hours from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Monday, April 19 at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St. Haverhill. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM in the Funeral Home.
