Arthur E. Redman III, 62, of Haverhill, formerly of Woburn, died Saturday, June 2, at the Oxford Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.Born in Lowell June 5, 1949, he was the son of the late, Arthur E. Jr., and Margaret A. (Ward) Redman. Raised in Lowell, he attended Lowell public schools and was a Graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1967. A Vietnam War Veteran, Mr. Redman enlisted into the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country and was honorably discharged in 1971. He then continued his education and received his degree from Newbury College in Boston.Living in Woburn for over thirty-five years, he was employed as a letter carrier for the Woburn Post Office and also drove cab for Yellow Cab Co. He relocated to Haverhill three years ago. An avid sports fan, he followed all local sports teams and enjoyed a friendly wager on their outcome.A loving father, grandfather, and brother, he leaves his three children Jeffrey A. and his wife, Kerrie L. Redman, of Nashua, NH, Christine M. Redman and her partner, Ellen V. Murphy, of North Andover, and Kerrie A. Redman and her partner, Margaret M. Lougee, of Weare, NH, two cherished grandchildren, Joshua and Kayla Redman, a sister, Mary R. Redman-Marson and her husband, Craig W. Marson, of Seabrook, NH, and nieces and nephews.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Tuesday from 5 until 8 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in St. James Church, Winter St. Haverhill.
