Bruce McInnes

Haverhill -Bruce G. McInnes, 59 of Haverhill, lost his long and courageous battle with lung cancer on March 12, 2014.Born on May 25,1954 in Beverly, he was the son of Barbara E. (McCarthy) McInnes and the late, William H. McInnes.Bruce and his family moved to Groveland when Bruce was 13. He was a 1972 graduate of Pentucket High School. Upon graduation Bruce enlisted in the United States Air Force. A Vietnam Veteran, he became a missile guidance and control specialist. After being honorably discharged in 1976 he continued his education and went on to graduate from Northern Essex Community College with a degree in accounting.For over twenty years, Bruce was employed by the James F. Mullen Company of Merrimack and took great pride in his work in the Company.Bruce leaves his loving and devoted wife Kathy A. (Guerin) McInnes, of Haverhill, his mother, Barbara E. (McCarthy) McInnes, sons, Greg B. McInnes and his wife Heather of Sarasota FL, Adam D. McInnes of Salem, MA, and Charles L Courtois and his partner Noelle Edwards of Haverhill, daughters Jennifer Bertelli and her husband, Devon, of Danvers, Alexis Courtois of Haverhill, Justine Courtois and her partner Terra Heimbold, also of Haverhill, cherished grandchildren Cody and Christopher Edwards, Jack and Benjamin McInnes, Amelie and Lucia Bertelli, and Justin Marchese, brothers, William H. McInnes and his wife, Anne, of Alfred, ME, Robert McInnes andf his wife, Stacy, of Ft. Payne, AL, Barry McInnes and his wife, Diane, of Dracut, John McInnes and his wife, Judy, of Barrington, NH, James McInnes, of Groveland, Peter McInnes and his partner, Cindy Wheeler, of Concord, NH, and Andrew McInnes and his wife, Judy, of Derry, NH, a sister, Judy Legacy, of Haverhill. Brothers in law Jeffrey Guerin and his wife Maria, John Guerin and his wife, Lisa, all of Haverhill, Kim Seliger and her husband, Matthew, of Smithtown, NY, Kristine Twombly and her husband, Jeremy, and Karla McCarthy and her husband, Daniel, all of Haverhill, uncle, Kenneth McCarthy, of CA, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Scott Swiniarski, sister, Sandra Dotty, mother in law, Edith Guerin, and brother in law, Daniel Guerin. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem St. Haverhill.
