Carmen M. Perez Segarra

Andover – Carmen M. Perez Segarra, 87, wife of the late Efrain Quiles, passed away January 26, 2021 at Lawrence General Hospital.

Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Cecilio Perez Mercado and Monserrate Segarra. Raised and educated in Puerto Rico, she moved to the United States in her early 20’s, settling in Brooklyn, NY. Carmen has lived in Haverhill for the past 5 years. She worked as a factory worker in the garment industry for many years. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she raised her young family alone after the passing of her husband. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carmen is survived by her children, Efrain Quiles Perez, Carmen L. Quiles Perez, Hector Quiles Perez, Juan Quiles Perez, Jose A. Quiles Perez; grandchildren, Miguel A. Vega, Erik L. Vega, Ivelisse N. Crespo, Sean L. Valle, Joshua Quiles, Yslen M. Quiles, Christina M. Quiles, Leila M. Quiles; and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Edwin Quiles Perez,

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, January 29, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
