Carole L. (Ducharme) Hennessey, 67, of Haverhill, formerly of Groveland, died Saturday, February 7, at the Merrimack Valley Hospital after a brief illness.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late, Bertrand R. and Emma M. (Carter) Ducharme. She attended Groveland elementary schools was a 1959 Graduate of Pentucket High School.Mrs. Hennessey was a homemaker most of her life, tending to her children and grandchildren. For a short time she was employed as a quality control inspector for Western Electric in North Andover.The widow of Frank P. Hennessey who died in 1994, she leaves two sons, Matthew P. and Sean E. Hennessey, a daughter and son in law, Andrea M. and Timothy Slavit all of Haverhill, grandchildren, Laura, Emma, Phillip, Matthew, Kane, and Chloe Hennessey, and Timothy and Ryan Slavit. She was predeceased by her son Brian in 2003, and her brother Richard “Bud” Ducharme in 2007.At the request of Mrs. Hennessey, there are no calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, friends and family respectfully invited, from the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill, at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, Center St. Groveland.
