Catherine Jannette (Dusombre) Descoteaux, 75, of Plaistow, NH, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at the Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill.Born in Haverhill on March 8, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Marguerite (Belanger) Dusombre. Educated in local schools, she was employed by the Imperial Cleaners for many years until her retirement.Catherine loved flowers, especially in her earlier years where she enjoyed spending time planting in her garden. An avid crafter, her talents were sewing and knitting. Catherine cherished the time spent with her family and grandchildren too whom she will be sadly missed, but her loving memory will never be forgotten.Catherine is survived by her loving companion of 40 years, Mr. Russell Britton of Plaistow, NH, four sons, Michael J. Descoteaux of Plaistow, NH, David E. Descoteaux and his wife Lakkunthea of Plaistow, NH, Gary Descoteaux and his wife Kelly of VT, and Robert L. of Salem, NH, three daughters, Debra A. Descoteaux of Plaistow, NH, Elaine M. Campbell and her husband James of Salem, NH, and Barbara J. Descoteaux of Plaistow, NH, six brothers, Robert Dusombre of Seabrook, NH, Leonel Dusombre of Derry, NH, Fredrick Dusombre of Plaistow, NH, Richard Dusombre of Haverhill, John Dusombre of Haverhill, and Gilbert Dusombre of Haverhill, five sisters, Helen St. Cyr of Haverhill, Janet Langlois of Haverhill, Peggy Murry of WA, Marilyn Deveau of Haverhill, and Sally Hardy of Seabrook, NH, twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nepews. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Nancy Maynard and a sister, Majorie Chadwick.Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend her funeral services on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 12:00 PM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Calling hours will precede the services on Monday morning from 10 AM until Noon.
