Haverhill – Charles J. D’Agata, 82, passed away January 1, 2017 at Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.Born in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lena (Scalia) D’Agata. Raised and educated in Lawrence, he was a graduate of Lawrence High School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1953 and was honorably discharged in 1956. He worked for the Bolta Company in Lawrence, a plastics company. Charles was a car buff and especially loved Corvettes. He enjoyed day trips to the local beaches including Salisbury Beach. Charles was a big Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and enjoyed watching the games. He also enjoyed watching all genres of movies. He cherished his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He will be sorely missed. Charles is survived by his children, Charlene D. Godbold of San Diego, CA Michael C. D’Agata and his wife Patricia (Fleming) of Charlotte, NC David J. D’Agata and his wife Kimberly (Dusombre) of Haverhill Danita M. Parker and her husband Robert of Minneola, FL a brother, John D’Agata and his wife Lorraine of Cape Coral, FL his longtime friend, Susan King of Waltham his grandchildren, Jamison M. D’Agata, Avianna Marchand, Hannah M. Parker, Joshua T. Parker, Sophia E. D’Agata and Emma R. D’Agata. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, January 5 from 5:00PM until 6:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
