New Britain, CT – Clara E. (Cruz) Santiago, 67, beloved wife of the late Luis Manuel Santiago-Fernandez who passed away in December, passed away April 20, 2018 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut surrounded by her loving family.Born in the Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Fernando Cruz and Alida German (Cruz). Raised and educated in the Dominican Republic, she came to New York with her family at the age of twelve. Clara moved to Lawrence in her twenties where she lived until moving to New Britain, CT with her daughter in 2016. She loved shopping and playing Bingo, but her greatest joy came when spending time with her family. Clara will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Clara is survived by her children, Robert Morales of Lowell Liza Nazario of CT Aris Santiago of Lawrence Sulay Santiago of CT one daughter in law, and three son in laws thirteen grandchildren one great grandson her siblings, Acela, Dilcia, Gloria, Osiris, Ernest, Tony, Piro, Jovanny, and Jeffrey and several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, April 27 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be Saturday morning, 10:00AM in the funeral home.
