Haverhill – Dana R. Paquette, 59, passed away suddenly November 11, 2020 at his home in Haverhill.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Paul J. and Margaret Jane (Powers) Paquette. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he attended Whittier Tech, graduating in the Class of 1979. Dana was employed as an overnight manager at BJ’s before opening Fresco Beignet Café in Haverhill with his fiancé` and partner of 15 years, Cheryl A. Poley. He enjoyed football, softball, cards, pool and loved cooking. Dana was a fisherman and a handy -man who loved to fix things. Known as a happy go lucky guy and very sociable, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him!!!

Dana is survived by his fiancé` Cheryl A. Poley of Haverhill; his sons, Kody Paquette of CA and Jason Plourde of Salem, NH; brothers, Gary W. Paquette and his wife Michele of Lake Wales, FL; Mark O. Paquette and his wife Carolyn of Almonte, Canada; Rodney N. Paquette of Manchester, NH; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Paul J. Paquette.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, November 15 from 2:00PM until 5:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be on Monday morning at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Primrose Street, Haverhill.     Cheryl, my heart breaks for you. Both Larry and I are so sorry to hear of Dana’s passing. We both loved going to Fresco Beignet and seeing the two of you, and Dana always had a smile for us.
