GROVELAND – Donald J. Cashman, 89, husband of Shirley Roberts Cashman of Groveland passed away on August 26, 2025 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Danvers on October 17, 1935 Donald was the son of Nicholas and Anna (Buckley) Cashman. He attended Danvers High School and Had a strong work ethic and went on to work as a carpenter for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and traveling to the Florida Keys and Colorado. Donald will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather by those he leaves behind.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years Shirley Roberts Cashman, his daughter Kristie and Matthew Eaton of Groveland, Vivian Lee (Cashman) Orchard of New Hampshire; and his sister Ruth Foster of Danvers. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Noah M. Detjens, Ivy M. (Detjens) Bouley, Matthew Eaton and Ashlinn Eaton. He was predeceased by his sons Richard Cashman and Scott Cashman, and his brothers William Cashman and John Cashman, and his sister Mary Cell.
