Donna Stevenson

Hudson, NH – Donna M. (Barry) Stevenson, 70, loving companion of Paul Richard for over 20 years, passed away April 5, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence R. and Marion P. (Ganshirt) Barry. Donna was a graduate of North Cambridge Catholic High School. She was employed in sales with API Technology and Semigen in Londonderry, NH. Donna enjoyed traveling with Paul, wintering in Venice, FL. She loved visiting Rye Beach, Ogunquit and North Conway, especially with her grandson and best friend, Thomas J. Stevenson. Donna and Paul did extensive travelling including trips to Las Vegas and Caribbean cruises. She was known for her great sense of humor and her beautiful spirit. She never met anyone she didn’t like. Family was very important to her and the family gatherings at her sister’s home in Ossipee as well as annual family reunions were two things she looked forward to. Her nights out with “the girls” every few months were cherished times. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her loving companion Paul Richard, Donna is survived by her son Kevin P. Stevenson sisters, Dianne L. Kelley and her husband James R. of Ossipee, NH Patricia A. Petitpas and her husband Robert of Tewksbury her beloved grandson Thomas J. Stevenson daughter in law Cheryl A. (Anderson) Stevenson, of Haverhill, and sister in law Nancy A. (Stevenson) Johnston of North Andover, nieces and nephews Jessica Nickerson, Adam Kelley, Matthew Petitpas and Bethany Petitpas. She was predeceased by her son Eric J. Stevenson. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, April 11 from 10:00AM until 1:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
