Haverhill – Eric D. Smith, 47, passed away December 19, 2020 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.
Born in Newburyport, he was the son of Lloyd R. Smith and Bonnie L. (MacLeod) Smith of Haverhill. Eric attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Whittier Tech, Class of 1991. He was employed in real estate maintenance and general carpentry. Eric enjoyed riding his dirt bike, fishing and was a huge NASCAR fan. He loved his daughter Aleah and his family. Time spent with them was what he cherished most. Eric will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Eric is survived by his daughter, Aleah Smith of Haverhill; his mother, Bonnie L. (MacLeod) Smith of Haverhill and his father, Lloyd R. Smith of Haverhill; his grandmother, Marilyn MacLeod of Boxford; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Jami Smith.

My husband Rick & I just found this out. We we’re shocked & saddened. Kathy & I were inseparable earlier in life. All of my childhood memories involve Kathy, Mike and most of the members of her family father and aunts. Please I hope somehow our our sincere heartfelt condolences can be relayed to Mike and Sherry.

I’m very sorry for your loss I went to grade school with Eric and he was so funny! He definitely always made me laugh, I was very sad to see he passed away, and his brother! So sad! My sincere condolences to his family snd friends.
