Haverhill –Ernesto A. Matos, 57, passed away October 14, 2017 at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill surrounded by his loving family.Born in Bronx, New York, he was the son of Reinaldo Perez, Sr. of NH and Lucy T. (Lopez) Perez of Haverhill. He was raised and educated in Haverhill and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1978. He was formerly employed at the Portland Group Plumbing Supply Company as a truck driver. Ernesto was an avid football and fan and enjoyed watching the Patriots and the Giants play. Ernesto had always been a big New York Yankees fan as well. You could always find him working on his truck. Ernesto especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter Jesani. He was a loving father, son, grandfather and brother who loved his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his daughter Jessica Guadalupe of Haverhill his siblings, Reinaldo Perez, Jr. of Reading Sally Rexach of Haverhill Estell Baez of Haverhill Sonia Perez of Manchester, NH Aggie Garcia and her husband Cesar of Lawrence two grandchildren, Jaden Carignan and Jesani Ortiz and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his close friends who he grew up with, Wayne Perry, Kenny Stevenson and Richard Quickley. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, October 19 from 5:00PM until 7:30PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
