Haverhill – Estervina (Cruz) Cardenales, 75, wife of Florencio Cardenales, passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 20, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Feliciana (Velequez) Cruz. Raised and educated in Puerto Rico she relocated to the United States with her family when she was 16 years old. She met her husband Florencio in Brooklyn, NY when she arrived and for the past 45 years has lived in Haverhill. She was employed as a packer for the Allen Shoe Company in Haverhill for ten years. Primarily a homemaker her most treasured moments were time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Roberto Cardenales of Haverhill Madeline Cardenales of Haverhill Nellie Cardenales of Hollywood, FL Felicia Cardenales of Haverhill her sister, Georgina Perez of West Park, FL seven grandchildren, Anna Maria Cruz, Daniel Antonio Marte, Ariel Michael Marte, Alexander O. Pagan, Andrew W. Pagan, Jessel Nickolas Cardenales, Niko Xavier Cardenales four great grandchildren, Emmalysa A. Marte, Javin J. Marte, Aaden C. Pagan, Sofia M. Pagan and many loving nieces and nephews.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, August 24 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 9:00AM on Thursday with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM in St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill.
