Andover – Floren R. Conca, Jr., 89, husband of Joan R. (Sirry) Conca, passed away Monday, July 18 at Port Healthcare in Newburyport surrounded by his loving family.Born in Methuen, he was the son of the late Floren R. Sr. and Rose (Miele) Conca. He was a graduate of Searles High School, Class of 1944. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged. He was a dedicated employed for over 30 years as a Supervisor in Data Processing for AT & T and retired in 1987. Floren was an only child and was a very quiet man who loved fishing, bowling, playing cards, working on jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. He enjoyed spending time with his family at Salisbury Beach during the summer months. Floren was a vegetable farmer and enjoyed making handmade moccasins. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.In addition to his loving wife Joan, he is survived by his daughter, Debra C. Lannan of Andover and his grandchildren, Riley C. Smith and Courtney Smith.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, July 21 from 10:00AM until 11:30AM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A funeral service will follow at 11:30AM in the funeral home.
