Gary “Stephen” Park, 61

HAVERHILL – Gary “Stephen” Park, 61, of Haverhill passed away on Wednesday, June 5 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Stephen was born in Dorchester, MA on August 6, 1962 the son of Hugh and Barbara (Hamilton) Park.  He grew up in Dorchester and then moved to Haverhill at the age of eight. Stephen worked at several local companies over the years including Alden Merrill Cheesecake Factory, the Cabot House Furniture Company, and as an assembler making circuit boards. A musician in local bands, Stephen played bass guitar for Anvil Trask and Persuader. Stephen was a history buff, he enjoyed boxing  and was a nature fanatic, he especially loved dogs and cats.

Stephen is survived by his three brothers Hugh David Park, Jr. of Epping, NH, Sean Park of Haverhill and Eric Park of Peabody, his close friends Charles and Holly Casey of Salem, NH, and several nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Hugh and Barbara (Hamilton) Park.
