Haverhill – Henry Aviles, 49, passed away November 29, 2016 at Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley Haverhill surrounded by his loving family.Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico he was the son of Guillermo and Miriam (Rodriquez) Aviles of Haverhill. Raised and educated in Puerto Rico, he came to the United States in 1989 with his family and settled in Southbridge. He has lived in Haverhill for the past 12 years. Henry was employed at the Market Basket in Haverhill for the past several years. In his younger years he was an avid baseball player and loved following the Red Sox. He enjoyed fishing of all types, at the beach, on the ocean, lakes and streams. He loved Salsa music and shooting pool. Henry will be remembered as a devoted family man who had a huge heart and loved helping people. In addition to his loving parents he is survived by his son, Henry Aviles, Jr. of Haverhill his companion of 22 years, Billie Jo Goddard of Haverhill a step daughter, Sara Carrasco Morley and her husband Deryl of Farmington, NH a step son, Wilfredo Carrasco of Haverhill his siblings, Angel Rodruquez of Amesbury Jacqueline Aviles of Puerto Rico Maria Aviles and Waleska Aviles, both of Haverhill many aunts, uncles, cousins and in laws. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, December 7 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
