Henry Cook

Henry F. “Butch” Cook, 68, of Haverhill, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 at the Lawrence General Hospital after being stricken ill suddenly at home.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Shirley M. (DeBlois) Cook-Cote and the late Henry F. Cook Sr., he was step-son to the late Henry J. “Jake” Cote. He attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1959. He moved to California, where he met the love of his life, Diana S. (Brown) and started their family. They moved to Texas for 12 years and relocated back to Haverhill where he has stayed for the past 30 years.Butch was a loveable man with a great sense of humor, he loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially hamming it up on karaoke night. He leaves many, many friends and family members with fond memories, and sadness to his parting. He was employed most recently by the Wave Guide Company in Chelmsford. Previously, he worked for Schneider Automation in North Andover, and Digital Corp., while living in Texas he owned and operated Angelo Foreign Auto Repair in San Angelo, Texas.He leaves his beloved wife of 44 years, Diana S. (Brown) Cook of Haverhill sons, Stephen B. Cook and his partner Maria Bodon of Haverhill, Shawne H. Cook of Hampton, N.H. daughters, Christina L. Callaway and her husband Charles L. of Haverhill, Cheryl A. Tombarello, Coleen Hansen, and Lisa Sanford, all of Haverhill two brothers, Frank W. Cook and Bruce A. Cook, both of Haverhill four grandchildren, Michael A., Stephanie A., Nicklos B. Cook and Jacob M. Callaway a great-grandson, Enzo R. Mera and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, William R. Cook and a sister, Sharon M.
