Webster – Idamarie (Houde) Chapman, 51, of Webster, formerly of Haverhill and Kingston, NH, died Monday, August 12, 2013 after a three year battle with cancer. Born in Medford, she was the daughter of Charles F. and the late, Irene E. (Castellucci) Houde. She attended Medford public schools and was a graduate of Medford Vocational High School, class of 1980. Idamarie was a vivacious woman who never stayed in one place for long. She had a long varied career, which included hairdressing, and secretarial work, and customer service at retail pet stores. She loved animals, and having an exotic animal handler’s license, she owned among many pets, an alligator.Her survivors include her husband, Kenneth E. Chapman, of Kingston, NH, a brother, Steven J. Houde and his wife Cherylanne, of Tewksbury, two sisters, Sharri L. Sackett, of Portage, MI, and Patricia A. Chartier and her husband, Richard, of Webster, cherished nieces and nephews, Maryanne, Shawn, and Irene Houde, Bethany Adams, Philip Pierce, Hannah, Destiny, and Zachary Chartier, and one great nephew, Dravyn Pierce. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Friday from 5 until 8:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill.
