Haverhill – Irma Aurora Gonzalez, 72, of Ocala, Florida, formerly of Haverhill, died Saturday, January 25 in Florida. Born, raised and educated in Puerto Rico, she moved to Philadelphia in 1965, relocating to Haverhill in 1971. She was employed in the local shoe industry working at the former Hoyt and Worthen Co. and Allen Shoe Company in the Tannery. Longing for warm winters, she moved again back to Florida in 1997. She leaves he loving children, Juan Moya and his wife, Nancy, of Haverhill, Gladys Moya, of Puerto Rico, Julio Moya and his wife, Wanda, of Methuen, and Maria Gonzalez, of Haverhill. Her mother, Luz Maria Gonzalez, of Ocala, FL, cherished grandchildren, Wilfredo, Juan Jr., Christina, Miguel Jr., Julio Jr., Shanika and Karina Moya, Elaine Dearce, William and Jennifer Figurora, and Xavier Velex, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Miguel Moya. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Saturday, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill.
