Jacquelyn M. (Leveille) Comeau, 83

HAVERHILL – Jacquelyn M. (Leveille) Comeau, 83, a life-long resident of Haverhill, MA passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2025 at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill. Her sudden illness and passing is just three months after the passing of her husband of 61 years, Joseph (Tom) Comeau.

Jacquelyn was born on April 23, 1942 in Haverhill to Alice (Henderson) Leveille and Alfred Leveille, Sr. She was raised in Haverhill and attended Haverhill schools along with her nine siblings. Jacquelyn spent her life as a homemaker, caretaker, and also working as a CNA at Haverhill Manor nursing home. She spent her later years working at Walmart. Jacquelyn enjoyed watching her birdfeeders outside her dining room window, and crafting. Although she enjoyed clipping recipes from magazines, she was known to clip away more that she cooked.

She is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Sanborn and husband Edward of Palm Harbor, Florida, and Lori Comeau and Julie Leathers both of Haverhill. She leaves grandchildren Amanda (Evans) Durgin and her husband Harry, Kyle Evans and his wife Jenelle, Brian Houle, Carlene Houle, and Jake Manfrates, all of Haverhill. She leaves great grandchildren Landon, Maverick, Avery, and Tyler. She is also survived by her sisters Joanne (Leveille)(McAlevey) Wain of Worcester, and Carolyn Leveille of Ocala, Florida. Her brothers Richard Leveille of Riverview, Florida and Donald Leveille of Georgia. Jacquelyn is predeceased by her siblings Christine (Leveille) Paonessa, Shirley (Leveille) Peters, Joseph Leveille, Alfred Leveille, Jr., and Norman Leveille. Jacquelyn leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her, but are comforted by the fact that Mem & Pep are reunited in Heaven.
