James Collis

Haverhill – James W. Collis, 81, husband of Anne M. (Burns) Collis, passed away May 15, 2018 at his home in Haverhill.Born in Pontiac, Michigan, he was the son of the late Lester H. and Mary E. (Waterman) Collis. James served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He was an engineer salesman for EG&amp G for many years before retiring. James lived in Groveland for over 40 years where he was a devoted husband and a wonderful father. His family was his joy and he was theirs. His devotion was second to none. He lived by example in all that he did, and was always there for his family. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, John “Jack” Davis and his wife Patricia of Groveland, Cathleen Collis of Sandown, NH Michael Davis of Clearwater, FL James Davis of Largo, FL Kenneth Davis and his wife Susan of Groveland Gayle Bereshny and her husband Roger of Groveland his sister Ruth Kelleher of Michigan several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son James (Bobby) W. Collis, Jr. At the request of the family, funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B.
