James R. Suozzo, 53, of East Boston, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.Born in Winthrop, June 1, 1957, he was the son of the late, Wilfred Suozzo and Joyce E. Sullivan. He attended Boston public schools and Saugus high school. For many years, Mr. Suozzo was a self-employed marketing entrepreneur, involved in the pharmaceutical industry.He leaves a daughter, Terese Suozzo Kacandes and her husband Christopher of Boxford a son, James R. Suozzo Jr. of Everett two granddaughters, Isabella and Lilianna Kacandes aunts and uncle, Dorothy DeGruttola of Saugus, Verna Sullivan, James Sullivan and his wife Ruth of East Boston, and Jesse Suozzo of Stoneham.ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend his funeral Mass on THURSDAY, FEB. 3, at 10 a.m., in St. Joseph-St. Lazarus Parish, 59 Ashely St., East Boston.
