Janet D. (Damphousse) Graham, 74, of Haverhill, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late, Charles E. and Loretta C. (Frenier) Damphousse. She attended Haverhill Public Schools and Northern Essex Community College. Mrs. Graham was a woman of many talents who would not sit still. Her career was varied: she began in the shoe industry of Haverhill for 14 years, as she lived in Manchester, Conn., she was manager of the Spree Retail Store relocating back to Haverhill, she was employed at Pub Bennies on the Plaistow line, and also worked at Rod Griffin catering and Mr. Mike’s Restaurant.Along with her loving husband, William, she enjoyed their travels throughout the Caribbean. A huge Red Sox fan, the highlight of her life was being invited to the Sky Box at Fenway Park as a guest of Larry Lucchino and his wife Stacey. She was a known fixture at the Carl Davis Post 34 in Plaistow. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary, as she ran and catered many a benefit for anyone in need, and also where she had fond memories of many family gatherings.She leaves her beloved husband, William C. Graham, of Haverhill two daughters, Deborah L. (Poirier) Atwood, of Haverhill, and Robin M. (Poirier) and her husband Ronald Demetrio, of Chelsea stepchildren, William and Michael Graham, and Michelle Roland, all of Haverhill two sisters, a twin, Jean Mitchell, of Haverhill, and Claire and her husband Robert Tebo, of Sebastian, Fla. six cherished grandchildren, Diana Marshall and her husband, Ed, Kimberly and Arielle Atwood, Ronnie, Dana, and Michelle Demetrio two great-grandchildren, Teaghan and Tawny Marshall longtime friend, Annette Hickey and much loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Paul Damphousse.ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Route 125), Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill. A spring burial will take place at the Plaistow Cemetery, Plaistow, N.H.
